Zoooooooo

so we thought we would make a trip to the zoo as we heard that shanghai zoo was in a much better state than our unfortunate previous visit to the so called zoo in shijiazhuang. i was still fairly drunk in the morning and got persuaded into buying these rollerblade things for your shoes i dont know why seemed like a good idea at the time gary and lois bought some as well and we took them to the zoo as you do and tested them out while we were there. i was were flip flops so it was difficult and very scary we just made tits of ourselves in front of loads of people. 

I was jammy as per usual and got my student discount off on the ticket woooppp . The zoo initially seemed lovely fairly clean and animals were happy :). but the chinese have no concept of being nice to animals . they were constantly banging on the glass windows when we were in the reptile section it was awful :(. 

Most of the animal enclosures were open which was nice felt like the animals were more free until we saw how much litter was in the enclosures . We witnessed a few chinese people throwing bottles at the animals it was disgusting i got so upset i couldn't believe that this was acceptable. there was no security about at all this attitude towards to the animals was awful. I still did enjoy going there as the animals seemed happier and we got to see pandas and even red ones which were my favourite as i had never seen them before.
