one crazy weekend .........

apologise for my last blog of a rant it needed to be done it helped my relieve the tension thanks for all the messages really helped feeling alot better about the classes now :)

so going back a little to the weekend of the 14th September which was our crazy weekend as we thought we had to work the next two weekends until our holiday turns out we didn't so we just had a crazy time for the funnnn of it :P. 

me and dave went exploring again on our bikes proper loving the ability to just go further with ease although still having a few close calls with regards to being hit by buses and cars dave has a tendency to take out other bikers or pedestrians which is funny he is getting better though still worried when we go out . 

we then went out on the friday night with all the Americans, Canadians, africans  and other teachers it was able's birthday when we were out so they brought us over alcohol which was cool and a massive sparkler  which was pretty scary, this night i drank too much whiskey and got very drunk as you can tell by the pictures loving the music over here on minute it will be playing adele a classic then drop to some dubstep then to some rap its mental like someone ipod on shuffle its good fun.

 so the next day we were all severely hung over and went to get some food then we thought it would be a great idea to go downtown shopping we didnt do the sensible thing and get a taxi though oh no got in the smallest car ever a think you call them a tuc tuc , it was stupid it was rattling all over the place felt ever bump which wasnt ideal when i was feeling very fragile and sick i guess it was an experience , we didnt stay long in town when into h & m tried on a few things but we all felt ill so we went home . Saturday was the big night out as it was able's surprise party so we all proper dressed up which was nice , i didn't drink the whole night i couldn't stomach it . i was proud though we all stayed till about 2 which was pretty epic seen as we were all seriously hung over . Sunday was a chill day , spent around the park me and sophie got really excited and we found the candy floss man we have been craving this for ages but never found the stall we had to wait a while the chinese don't have the concept of a queue but the guy made sure we got our candyfloss it was only 3yuan so 30p , it was hugggggge :) proper put me in a good mood.

ok this will be my last blog for a little bit as i am off to shanghai this week as i have a holiday yaayyyy so we are going with follow teachers from this city as well gary and lois from summer camp i am so excited to see them and catch up tres excitttedd unfortunately on a 20 hour train journey to get their on a seat so that should be fun

a little rant

sorry for the lack of pictures in this post but i pissed off today , normally the kids i teach are angels and listen but i have had some serious problems today. normally the only teaching day i don't like is thursday because the kids are noisy and a little cheeky  but today i would rather have thursdays lessons i have been given the middle finger by 2 students in different classes directed at me for no reason the first time was this morning i sent the boy out in annoyance then let him back in after a while and a serious chat , he said sorry afterwards after i took his name from another student realising i was going to report him . the other was another boy in my last and again the middle finger was directed at me for no reason i sent him out and had a very angry word with him came back in the close close to tears and very angry told the class if i ever have this behaviour again we will never play any more games. let the child back in he never said sorry which really pissed me off . i have to go see mr dong who is a cracking man who makes me giggle to go have words with these kids .

i have no idea why this happened today maybe they are excited for the holidays coming up next week i truly thought the kids were different over here but today has shown me they are no different . i am very upset fragile and angry now and not looking forward to 2moro and its my dreaded thursday lessons :(

Mystery Tour ..

So my new best friend jen a fellow teacher is amazing at researching and cleverly planned us all a mystery tour , which i was very excited about as i love surprises. We had to wake up early to go get a bus , we still had no idea where we were going but i was like a child all giddy and fidgety in the back in of the bus with dave he just kept laughing how excited i was . i think i got too excited and fell asleep on dave he was a fabulous pillow :). the bus journey wasn't the best journey ever , we ended up being stuck in horrendous traffic which consisted off us being stationary for around 1 hour with every vechile beeping it was mental so annoying woke me up from my nap , the police car got stuck behind us and had their sirens on which were extremely loud unfortunately we couldn't move so we had that noise blaring in our ears. when we went eventually arrived at our location i knew where we were i had researched this area before i came out as its the top thing to do in shijiazhuang i was tres excited . We arrived at the Cangyan Mountains famous for its combination of natural mountain scenery with historical man-made structures. The Cangyan Mountains were used as a setting for filming in some scenes in the movies Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon. It was so beautiful mesmerising , it was cheap to get in because me and james used our students cards cheeeeky ! we had to climb for a while got very sweaty , but the views from the top were so worth it. i was very brave and made sure i took the experiences of going to the edge or to the heights possible point despite the fact that i am scared of heights . it was a great day out had so much fun and was great to get out of the city and be in tranquility and see some natural beauty. the pictures don't justify the views but you will get the idea .
