And the adventures begin .....: January 2013

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D :D just a tad bit excited that i properly start my holiday 2moro thankfully i have had this week off too bonus making me able to get a few things sorted with school and time for me and dave to chill . Found this nice restaurant near us that serves chips !!!! and these balls in gravy so we had chips and gravy the other day it was AMAZING . we havent been up to much as its so cold here with quite a bit of snow so we have been hermits and snuggling and watching tv :) expect when daves kid who dave actually doesn't teach james does Liz i Mu (liza ma zoo) took us out for the day . We went to a temple we was lovely he was our little tour guide showing us all of the goods and what they meant we had to pray and thank each one which the chinese found amazing and were following me and dave about. Then we went to a famous bridge in the Shiz, it was so cool the river had frozen solid so you could walk across we were dragging each other around it was a really fun day and nice to explore chinas history.

Can't wait to get a bit of sun though :). Off to singapore for 1 day and then Thailand for 2 and bit weeks then cambodia for the rest , excited to get away from the noise of china and finally properly chill with clean air :). Will keep you updated . missing home a lot , got some exciting news to say but dont want to jinx it till after the hols.

So Christmas the big one the time that i was dreading the most, i thought i was going to be okay until the 24th when i had a bad day and just seemed to cry all day over silly things i think realisation had kicked in that i wasn't going to be home. So we went out for a few drinks with the ex pact crew to celebrate christmas together in our favourite bar . Christmas day was great dave had bought me some beautiful thoughtful presents a few pig related ones :D a lovely picked out custom made necklace which was gorgeous. My mum had sent over a stocking and other family members had sent presents so i wasn't out of pocket :) was nice still being able to open up nice presents. We then ventured over to jesse's for a light lunch and exchangement of even more presents we had a great afternoon of banter and typical christmas games :) Then ( the best part) we had dinner at a very very very posh hotel it was amazing all you can eat and drink (even beer) we munched down on all sorts prawns, oysters, kangaroo, turkey, rice, steak, puddings. skewers. ice cream, grapes i could go on maybe not your typical christmas dinner but we can't do much when we don't even have an oven.

Christmas was busy at the school , a lot of parties which was nice to see the children finally relax. We also had a party a mine and jen's private teaching job (tina) with younger children where i made dave dress up as santa was epic. Also some big news i have moved into dave's flat :) i am very happy and cosy here and i think we had made it into a really nice home :D. The weather is getting much colder meaning i cant be bothered to do anything no more snow though which is disappointing. Still loving china despite not doing much due to the cold weather.

New years was nice as well unfortunately Sophie was ill so her and James stayed in but me, Dave, Jen and Andrew went out and partyed it up ! :) was a great start to 2013 . I have truly have had the best year of my life in 2012 achieving so much , but i have a feeling 2013 is going to be on par or maybe even better.
