Dave and I were super lucky last month in that we both got thursday and friday off from 42 middle school and 2 weeks off from our extra teaching so we jumped at the opportunity to go away . We went to Beijing for the weekend it was lovely was so nice to spend a weekend away and see Beijing again. We went to the temple of heaven and had a nice meal on the friday and on the saturday we went to summer palace and did a spot of shopping and sunday we chilled and went home.
Beijing wasn't very busy hardly any tourists it was great getting lost in china just the to of us . We stayed in a really nice hostel was more like a hotel very clean and was very cheap right in the centre of Beijing perfect for us and its name was King Joy's which is why we picked it due to saves last name being joy , if we go back again we will defo be staying there.
School is going ok kids are doing my head in a little i got asked by one of my kids the other week if i was having a baby which was awful as i presumed i was losing weight haha i think its because they have seen me and dave together (i hope). The weather is much colder here we have had snowed last week and today . we had so much last week a had a lesson cancelled and i ended up having a snowball fight with my kids it was epic was so fun playing with them in england probably crossing the line in china very acceptable love it !
having christmas lessons with the kids at the moment they are loving it had some really nice christmas cards and they are loving the film the snowman its epic the go silent which is great for me as i am a little under the weather.
